Imago is a work that explores European historical-philosophical thinking strands concerning movement and mobility. Through a fragmented performative patchwork, the work aims to bridge historical and contemporary thinking to understand how historical intellectual practices have shaped how we Europeans imagine our contemporary capacity to move and how we establish our identities. The work further explores how philosophical speculation has given form to chorographical thinking and social choreographies, and how this shapes how we Europeans relate to our bodies, our right to mobility, what we desire, faraway environments and imagining ourselves in an architectural landscape.
